Waipio Valley

Waipio Valley is another stunning place to visit on the Big Island. It’s the “other end” of the valley from Pololu Valley, and you can get to Waipio Valley by traveling on the Mamalohoa Highway. Turn in towards Honokaa, and take a left once you get into town. Follow this road until it ends (I think it’s about 3 or 4 miles.) You can hike or drive down to the black sand beach. There’s a beautiful waterfall inside the valley. I have prints available on canvas of Waipio. Just send me an email if you’re interested in more info!
